Geo-Cx offers two self-service plans—Foundation and Framework—and a Full Scale plan that’s activated with support from our team. Self-service plans are purchased online; Full Scale is set up after you share your details and our team finalizes it with you.
After a Customer Admin (CA) registers and verifies their account, they see the Plan screen. Until a plan is started, the account remains restricted to this screen and other pages are not available.
A Company Admin can start a 30-day trial for Foundation or Framework and choose the number of licenses needed. The trial begins and you’re taken to the dashboard; if it’s canceled, you’re returned to the Plan screen. After the 30 day's trial, you'll be asked to purchase the licenses to continue using Geo-Cx.
During the trial, you may adjust the license count; billing will reflect the final number when the trial ends and auto-renewal begins.
You cannot change the billing interval (monthly ↔ yearly) during the trial.
If you upgrade plan during the trial (e.g., Foundation → Framework), the trial ends immediately and you’re charged for the new plan (prorated for remaining trial days, if applicable).
Increase licenses: You can add licenses freely; charges adjust when the paid term starts (after the trial).
Decrease licenses: You may reduce unused licenses, but the license count cannot drop below the number of active users.
Example: If 8 users exist, you cannot decrease below 8 licenses.
When the trial ends, your plan auto-renews using the selected plan and license count.
Monthly → Yearly: Any unused days from the current monthly cycle are credited toward the yearly price.
Example: On a $10/month plan, using 15 of 30 days yields a $5 credit applied to the yearly fee.
Yearly → Monthly (mid-cycle): Not supported directly. You would cancel the yearly term (no refund/credit) and re-subscribe monthly.
Upgrade (Foundation → Framework) mid-cycle: Remaining days on your current plan are credited toward the upgrade; you pay the difference. If your current term is yearly, the upgraded plan remains yearly (no interval switch mid-cycle).
Downgrade (Framework → Foundation): The downgrade is queued to start at the end of the current billing cycle (no credit for unused time). License count changes you make are effective immediately, but you still cannot go below active users. This prevents over-usage before the downgrade takes effect.
Across all cases, if you are on a yearly plan, you cannot switch to monthly mid-cycle. Options are to cancel (no refund/credit) and re-subscribe monthly, or wait until the yearly cycle ends.
Full Scale is activated after a brief offline process (booked via the Plan screen), and our Super Admin assigns the plan and agreed license count. Any previous plan is deactivated with no refund or credit, and the Full Scale plan starts immediately.
No mid-cycle cancellation: You may request a downgrade, which takes effect at the end of the Full Scale billing period; you keep Full Scale features until then. If any portion was paid offline, it is non-refundable. License counts still follow the increase/decrease rules and can be adjusted immediately.
Reducing licenses with active users: You have 10 licenses, 8 users. You can reduce to 8, but not below.
Monthly → Yearly mid-month: You switch after 15 days. You’re charged for 15 days of the month and the remaining value credits your yearly payment.
Framework → Foundation at period end: The downgrade is scheduled for the end of the cycle; license adjustments you make now apply immediately but cannot undercut active users.
